Reed Ranch Flood Report and Photo's!!

JimmyG's Trinity River Catfish - a 45 lbr!

Flooded Trinity Bottomlands

For the first time in many, many months, the Reed bottoms were flooded during the last part of March '06. The water stayed out of the Trinity River banks for less than 3 days, and the flood level was noted as "moderate" - reaching a crest high of between 34 and 35 feet. A boat was put out by sons James and JimmyG in the flood plain and - along with club member David Melton - some good cruising and fishing was enjoyed. Check out the flood plain photo's of this flood - and past floods too - by clicking here!
