Holistic goal setting is what binds together all the management of resources on the Reed Ranch. There are 3 steps to holistic goal setting.

1. identifying values
2. listing out those things or activities we must schedule in to sustain our values and quality of life
3. describing how the landscape or environment must look to indefinitely sustain production, which sustains our values
