SUMMER REED RANCH DEER CENSUS SURVEYS TO BEGIN SOON!

The Reed Ranch has been conducting deer census surveys since the early 90's and has been keeping annual records on deer harvests and counts.

Current plans for the 2004 count are to conduct 3 night counts and enough day counts to count in excess of 200 deer. The results of the night counts will produce a deer-per-acre rate and the day counts will produce buck/doe/fawn ratio's.

If anyone's interested in helping out with the counts, contact ol jim soon!
