River and Wetlands
The 1700 acres Reed Ranch is bordered by several miles of the Trinity River's rich wildlife habitat and forested wetlands.
There are approximately 900 acres of wetlands, flooded timbers, lakes, ponds, and slough areas which make up habitat for a whole host of wildlife. Wildlife includes duck and other migratory waterfowl, and various species of river and lake fish and shoreline mammals.
